Voices from the Border: a Cry for Justice in the Americas

In 2019, Jeanne Gallo and Sunny Robinson have given a series of talks on mass migration in the Americas and the US border crackdown, including one sponsored by Mass. Peace Action in Cambridge on June 27.

Their presentation addresses the current mass migration from Central America: Why are so many people seeking asylum? What is our government’s response and why? What are the U.S. peoples’ responses to their pursuit of liberation from violence, poverty, and militarism in their homelands?

Jeanne Gallo and Sunny Robinson are life-long human rights advocates for justice and peace. In November, they went to the US-Mexico border where they met with human rights workers, families of the disappeared, DACA and other youth, as well as visited Annunciation House in El Paso.
