Peace Action intern Ian Garland will present a talk on his study of the problems of defense industrial base conversion. Garland is graduating from the University of Massachusetts Boston this month with a degree in Philosophy and Public Policy. In the fall he will be commencing graduate studies at the Institute of World Politics in Washington D.C. studying national security affairs and international relations.
