Sen. John Kerry

Three years after the onset of the Great Recession, Washington is focused on cutting deficits instead of on creating jobs.  Senator John Kerry is one of 12 members of a Super Committee charged with cutting $1.5 trillion from the deficit.   Will he stand firm?

Join us at Sen. Kerry’s office to demand:

  • Create jobs and get people back to work. Invest in infrastructure, green energy, education.
  • Restore fairness to the tax system. Repeal the Bush tax cuts for incomes over $250,000.
  • Hands Off Social Security.  It does not contribute a penny to the deficit.
  • Don’t limit access to health care. Don’t cut Medicaid or privatize Medicare.
  • End the Afghanistan and Iraq wars.  Bring all our troops, contractors, and money home.
  • Reduce military spending to meet our true defense needs. Invest the savings in a vibrant peacetime economy.
