The New START treaty, signed by President Obama and Russian President Medvedev in April, is the next step in nuclear disarmament. Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown can play a major role in determining whether or not the treaty is ratified — or if the future of arms control and disarmament will be derailed. He has not yet announced his position.
