Tom Hayden: The Politics of War and Peace

We will convene a speaker’s forum for a panel discussion and open debate about AIPAC’s involvement in our government’s domestic and foreign policies. Panel Speakers will include: Jamal Abdi, Denise Provost, Kristen Szremski and Stephen Walt. Dinner and refreshments will be served.


 

Meet & Greet with Rep. John Tierney

Massachusetts Peace Action enthusiastically endorses Rep. John Tierney for re-election. Tierney introduced legislation in 2008 that led to the creation of the Commission on Wartime Contracting in Iraq and Afghanistan which examined allegations that billions of dollars had been misappropriated. He has consistently opposed funding for the Afghanistan war and voted in favor of cuts to the military budget. Tierney is a longstanding opponent of missile defense systems. Suggested donation $50 to the Tierney campaign.
