FaireShareTaxThe campaign to gather signatures for the Fair Share Millionaire’s Tax is on!  It’s an amendment to the Massachusetts Constitution that will ask Massachusetts families with incomes over $1 million a year to pay a little more to cover needed improvements to public transportation and education. ‘Our Destiny is to Resist’: Palestinian human rights activist Bassem Tamimi will speak at Cambridge Friends Meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 7pm.

Music of Schumann and Beethoven will kick off our Music for Peace series for 2015-16 .  Internationally renowned violinist James Buswell joins three Boston-based luminaries for Schumann’s romantic and nostalgic outpourings, as well as a trio by one of Schumann’s heroes.  Saturday, October 17, 7:30 pm at Harvard-Epworth Methodist Church, 1555 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, near Harvard Law School.
