Volunteers needed! Our next summer tabling date will be the Cambridge RiverFest on Saturday afternoon, June 7, from 12-6pm (note its NEW LOCATION – Central Square!) We’ll be talking to passersby and gathering signatures on our new petition, “Funding for Education – or for Nuclear Weapons?” in cooperation with Boston WILPF. Contact the office to help out! It’s been a busy and productive week week! We held a well attended talk by Stephen Walt on “The Israel Lobby”, a magnificent Brahms concert on Saturday night, a terrific house party with whistle-blower and nuclear disarmament activist Daniel Ellsberg on Tuesday, and a session on the nuclear disarmament movement with Albany prof and PA national board member Larry Wittner, and Harvard’s Elaine Scarry.
