
Yesterday, National Lawyers Guild Attorney Jeff Feuer successfully argued for restoring the lobbing rights of defendants Mary Conathan, Doug Long, and Diane Turco in front of Judge Rosalind Miller at Suffolk Superior Court. The defendants had been barred from the State House following a sit-in in Gov. Charlie Baker’s office.
Their next court date is November 7. Thank you also to state Senate candidate Julian Cyr for joining them at the rally in front of the State House. Running to succeed Sen. Wolf, he, too, is a strong supporter of closing Pilgrim now and getting decommissioning on track with representatives from the Cape on the state panel.
Elaine Dickinson, Bill Maurer, and Sarah Thacher delivered another letter to Governor Baker.
Cape Downwinders plan to be back in Boston in October for a rally at the State House.
