For the open House of Representatives seat in the 3d Congressional District, three candidates, Barbara L’Italien, Alexandra Chandler, and Jeff Ballinger, have submitted questionnaires seeking the support of Massachusetts Peace Action members in the race for the Democratic nomination. The seat is being vacated by Niki Tsongas.
Juana Matias submitted her questionnaire late, possibly through a staff change or misunderstanding. In addition, we have met with and briefed Rufus Gifford and Beej Das, but they did not submit questionnaires. Patrick Littlefield submitted a questionnaire but has withdrawn from the race.
