I am guessing that the United States is expected to intervene in every squabble going on around the globe, because it is a world power? Well, I looked around the world and found that the good U.S. is at war with many countries or has already finished a war with some countries but stayed there to maintain U.S. presence and the country’s stability. I think we should try negotiations more, as wars cost us human lives, money and broken families — not to mention the fatherless/motherless children created through wars. Enough is enough. I say we go green and desist from war at least for the next 30 years.
