On Sunday, June 18th members of Mass Peace Action tabled at the How to Fix the World Festival in Somerville. Three petitions were brought: No First Strike, which would prevent President Trump from launching a nuclear weapon without congressional approval, to end the wars in the Middle East (“end the endless wars”), and to engage with diplomacy with North Korea instead of using violent conflict. We continued our social media campaign on what individuals would do with the $1 trillion Trump wants to use to upgrade the United State’s nuclear weapons campaign.
