There is much in the Bible about prophetic testimony, and I am glad to say that after the picnic this Sunday in our own way we continued that tradition as well.
As the accompanying photo shows we put up the banner on the front of the church that reminded people of the coming 70thanniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, with a call to pray for peace and to demand disarmament.
As this banner is on the church for the next month please continue to pray for peace in our world. This is especially poignant this week with the historic agreement with Iran aimed at reigning in its nuclear program.
