Get out the Vote for YES ON 4!

It’s time for an all out push to help win paid sick days in Massachusetts.  Over a million workers who do not now enjoy the right to earn sick days to take off sick to care for themselves and their families without risking their jobs will win that right if we are successful.

The opposition has been pushing its advertisement campaign designed to confuse voters.  We need to answer them by reaching as many working people as possible with the message VOTE YES ON 4.  Its not fair to ask workers to choose between their job and their health or caring for their loved ones and keeping their jobs.

The RaiseUp Coalition in which Mass Peace Action works has set up opportunities every day for us to Work on Get Out the vote activities in our communities or from our homes.

CALLING FROM HOME:

Possibly the easiest way to help is by using the RaiseUp Massachusetts High Tech Hubdialer system from our home. The HubDialer systems, which requires a computer, internet connection and a phone, allow us to connect with many more callers than we normally could by having the computer call numerous numbers until it gets someone home then connects us. Almost instantly after finishing with one voter, we simply press ext call and will get another voter to tlk with. The calling script is available on the computer screen. The HubDialer is available all this week, with the times and log-in information listed below:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 12pm to 3pm
Tuesday Spanish HubDialer from 4-8:30pm
Monday thru Friday: 4pm to 8:30pm
Saturday, Nov 1: 12pm to 5pmSunday, Nov 2: 4pm to 8:30pm
Election Day: 10am to 8pm

To join HubDialer, please go to www.hubdialer.com/agent and log in with the following:

Campaign Log-in ID: 04686 (Final Code from 10/29 to 11/4)

BEFORE USING HUBDIALLER THE FIRST TIME IT IS GOOD TO DO A TRAINING.  We will also have trainings via conference call every day at 3:45 PM. To join the training, please call in to 712-775-7200 and use access code 380546.
