Your Donations are Helping Prevent War with Iran!
Massachusetts Peace Action members have put the ad shown below on MBTA subway cars and buses. The ads went up Monday, March 19, 2012 and will be displayed for four weeks. The project is co-sponsored with United for Justice with Peace, Dorchester People for Peace, Newton Dialogues on Peace and War, and Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom – Boston Branch.
The ad asks people to sign the online petition at no-war-with-iran.com, where they can also get background information and ideas on more actions they can take.
Thanks to your contributions, we have raised $3,594 compared to our target of $4,000. Though we fell slightly short of our goal, this amount enables us to put the ad on 70 Red and Orange line subway cars for a month, and 100 buses on a space-available basis. 210,000 people ride the Red line every day, and 154,400 ride the Orange line.
