“The Legal Strategy of Settlements” was a talk by the Israeli Consul General, Dani Dayan, a leader in the settlement movement, at the Harvard Law School on Wednesday, Nov. 13. The Alliance for Water Justice in Palestine, the Harvard Palestine Solidarity Committee, and other activist groups, primarily university students organized a protest. Minutes into the talk, most of the audience quietly rose from their seats, displayed signs declaring settlements are a war crime and assembled outside to celebrate our dramatic moment, one that I hope resonates worldwide.
