The war in Syria has displaced nearly 16 million and we need to work our hardest to end that suffering!
Massachusetts Peace Action is circulating a Community Leaders’ Letter to our Congressional delegation calling for aid to refugees, a moratorium on US arms sales to the region, an end to supporting rebel groups, end to US bombing, emphasis on diplomacy, and Congressional approval of any military action. Please consider signing this letter or recruiting your community leaders to do so.
Examples of community leaders are:
- People with expertise or experience on international affairs or the Middle East
- Faculty members
- Clergy or lay leaders
- State or local elected officials
- Labor union leaders
- Officer of a community or civic organization
- Professional or business person.
