Massachusetts Peace Action’s 2014 Annual Meeting, titled “Toward a Just and Cooperative Foreign Policy”, will be held Saturday, February 8, 2014, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., at St. Ignatius Church on the Boston College campus.
1. The easiest way to get to St. Ignatius Church, 28 Commonwealth Avenue, Chestnut Hill (617-552-6100) is to take the Green Line (B-Boston College) to the end of the line, at Boston College. The church is right across Comm. Ave. from the T stop. Enter at the corner of the church that is closest, entering by the lower door, leading to the Lower Chapel.
2. Off-campus parking is not available in the area. However we have permission to park for free in the 5 areas indicated by arrows on the map above, namely the street at the entrance to the church, and the 4 indicated lots. That should be enough for 40 cars.
3. Or you may park in the on-campus Commonwealth Garage for $5. To get there from the other lots, drive back towards the church and take a left just before reaching the church. Pass the parking attendant kiosk (not used on Saturdays), and follow the road as it circles around to the left. You’ll see the garage to the right of the road; drive till you’re next to it to see the entrance.
